One example would be the "Parade of Flags" that takes place on Memorial Day in my town. It's purpose is to honor all who have served our nation. My sons and myself carry the flags of our fathers in that parade. One is a WW1 vet and the other a WW2 vet.

Speaking out when you see the government committing a wrong, attending war protests, attending 4th of July parades, honoring our veterans on Veterans day, and last but not least, voting!
