Does anyone no about events that where sponsered by smoking companys?

Sure... KOOL cigarettes used to sponsor music venues... some were small with just a group or two and some were rather large, like the one at Newport... some were just the sound truck playing cool music at County Fairs... I still have my KOOL Black cap and KOOL black tee shirt from those days. I worked the venues all summer long and it seems like it was about 1973 or 1974 but I don't remember for sure... I was involved with a lot of groups about that time so it all sort of blends together.
