In light of events following the pullout from Gaza last summer, particularly the landslide victory that put Hamas in power, and the redoubled efforts of terrorist groups to flatten in-range Israeli population centers with rocket fire, what is your opinion of Olmert's plan to abandon most of the West Bank settlements?

I didn't think Olmert had any plans to pull out of the West Bank. And given what happened to Gaza after they left that crapfest, I doubt he will be dreaming any up any time soon.

Why weren't these issues in 1948? How did it come to be that the Israeli Air Port is sitting on lands that belong to the Palestinians in 1950? What lands did other countries take to settle the Jewish people that survived the German Death Camps?
What treaties were signed, agreed upon when the land was TAKEN!
Why not do your homework before you ask questions!
By the way, Kuwait did not exist in 1957! Guess what country it was carved out from, and by whom!
it seems as though the Palestians to a great extent want to remaim "victims". I mean ok isnt it all they wanted to have all of Gaza and most all of what they wanted in the West Bank, but it does seem like nothing will ever be enough short of Isreals destruction and that isnt going to happen. It would make more sense to me, if that entire region would just have it out one more time with winner take all. This back and forth who is the biggter victim thing is getting old.
Even Egypt, Syria, Jordon and other countries in the neighborhood wont let palestinians in - they cause to many problems for them too.
Just look at the distaster of the Gaza retreat. Can't let that happen again in Judea/Samaria.
